You won’t be sitting behind a desk. Yes, you may travel across Winnipeg and Manitoba. You may even go as far as Saskatchewan, Ontario and Nunavut. But mostly, you’ll be home on weekends and evenings.

We’re in the business of damage prevention. This means we’re responsible for analyzing and report subsurface utilities and objects. Most work is on construction and industrial sites. Our technology is progressive; we provide ongoing internal training and professional certification. What you do here matters. We’ll give you the support, tools and training you need to accomplish this.

GPR Technician - Job Description

  • Conduct GPR Surveys of Concrete and Ground
  • CET with experience in concrete structures preferred
  • Confirm the purpose of the survey and areas to be surveyed with the client
  • Clarify expected results and revise as needed due to site conditions
  • Collect, process & review data
  • Extract information the client requires and review with the client
  • Transfer results to surface surveyed in the manner requested by the client
  • Take pictures of all areas surveyed once marked
  • Provide written reports as required within 1 week of data acquisition
  • Digitally archive data files, site pictures, and reports weekly
  • Clean, maintain and calibrate equipment as required

Utility Locator - Job Description

  • Certification and training in locating multiple utilities preferred
  • Confirm the purpose of the survey and areas to be surveyed with the client
  • Clarify expected results and revise as needed due to site conditions
  • Collect, process & review data
  • Take pictures of all areas surveyed once marked
  • Digitally archive data files, site pictures, and reports weekly
  • Clean, maintain and calibrate equipment as required

Note: The majority of our work is on construction and industrial sites.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 minimum.
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented team player.
  • Two years or more experience preferred.
